REGISTERED DIETITIAN AND CERTIFIED DIABETES CARE and EDUCATION SPECIALIST
PHOEBE WEBER,DCN, RD, CDCES Phoebe is a registered Dietitian with a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University. She also is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2013.
Phoebe currently practices as a registered dietitian at a health-system based, outpatient dialysis clinic and adjunct faculty at a local community college. She has been practicing as a dietitian in the Central Valley for nearly 20 years. Her past experience includes hospital, ambulatory clinics and managed care settings.
Her passion and specialty areas are diabetes management and renal disease. Other professional interests of hers include wellness, research and sports nutrition. A unique and fun career experience Phoebe had was serving as a dietitian at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
Phoebe’s nutrition philosophy for achieving optimal health and disease prevention: To maintain a balance of eating well, exercising regularly and managing stress. She empowers and motivates individuals towards making behavioral changes through lifestyle modifications first, before considering other interventions.
Her personal interests include cooking, running, camping and gardening. She enjoys trying new, simple, and healthy recipes because she has to feed two hungry boys at home constantly!
Phoebe is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Diabetes Care and Education Group (DPG), as well as the Asian Americans and Pacific Islands (MIG).
